07/04/2016: Six of Ireland’s leading universities compete for top prize at the Alltech Innovation Competition

The Alltech Innovation Competition returns for its fourth consecutive year, inviting teams of international and national students to present their forward-thinking business plans on innovative ideas in agriculture, food/beverage and the environment.

This competition celebrates entrepreneurship and the impact of cross-functional teamwork in business development. With a total of €9,000 on the line, the competition seeks to address challenges in everyday agribusiness. The winning team receives €4,000 to invest in their business and feedback from industry experts.
     
The competing universities include:

  • Dublin City University.
  • Dublin Institute of Technology.
  • Maynooth University.
  • Trinity College, Dublin.
  • University College Dublin.
  • University of Limerick.
Tuesday, April 12, 2016
9:30am – Programme begins with opening comments.
6.00pm (approximately) – Brief recap of presentations and announcement of winners.

Alltech European Bioscience Centre, Sarney, Summerhill Road, Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland.
