Third World Economic Forum (WEFTC) on Tilapia Culture - “New global challenges to a competitive tilapia industry" - November 18, 2015 in Fortaleza
This is an annual aquaculture meeting that target the economic aspects of the global tilapia industry. We are a large and diverse group of people from all continents involved in shaping the global, regional, national tilapia industry agendas. The overall objective of this event is to create spaces for discussion and analysis of the current situation, problems and challenges of the aquaculture and fisheries of tilapia and related species of the same niche/market at global and regional levels, as well as to promote and disseminate the trends that will shape these activities in the changing global environment.
Other industry symposia are the XII International Shrimp Farming Symposium and the IX International Aquaculture Symposium both during the event in Fortaleza. More news coming soon: www.was.org).
