Apparently two criminals in the USA have some rather diverse business contacts.
On Tuesday afternoon, police stopped a car reported as stolen in Arlington, Virginia and discovered that the occupants, a lady and a gentleman, were driving under the influence of alcohol and crack cocaine. Sadly, all too routine.
However, a quick look inside the car also revealed goods stolen from a local Walmart: at least ten packs of frozen shrimp, and more than twenty pairs of men’s underwear.
Naturally, they were debriefed by officers. De-shrimped too. And charged.
Let’s not be too angry at our pair of heroes, though. If it weren’t for them, we would never have had the pleasure of reading the Washington Post’s solemn statement:
“That is when police saw the shrimp and underwear inside the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica”.
